For some serious savoury goodness, Alma is serving a Pancake Tuesday special of Serrano pancakes with spring onion, roasted chickpeas, heritage carrots, wild garlic crème, and strawberry harissa jam with two poached eggs on top, sprinkled with smoked nuts and jamon serrano shavings. Or, opt for their signature Dulce de Leche pancakes for caramel addicts.
Pancakes with all of the trimmings can be found in Grangecon Kitchen in Wicklow – a haven an hour outside Dublin. Enjoy the buttermilk ricotta pancakes, served with blueberry sauce, orange curd, mascarpone, maple syrup and flaked almonds in a beautiful rustic setting.
