A non-Irish national of Latin American ethnicity has been arrested and is currently detained. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and video footage.

A man has been arrested and is currently detained at a Garda station in the North City under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. They added: “Anyone who was in the Stoneybatter area between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, who may have any video footage linked to this incident, is asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
