The annual festival is celebrated on March 17 which falls on a Sunday this year
Hundreds of thousands of people are set to turn up for to celebrate Ireland’s favourite holiday.While the main festivities will take place on Sunday, the week leading up to it will see hundreds of events across the country.Parade The National St Patrick’s Festival Parade will take place on Sunday.

Standing, Sitting, Lying Down Join musicians, singers and performers Simon Cullen, Michael Gallen, Glenn P Keating, and Jennifer Moore in an immersive electronic audio–visual performance where the audience can choose to sit, stand, or lie down on Thursday and Friday on City Assembly House, 7pm and 9pm.
Craft brew fans will enjoy the Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair featuring the very best beers, ciders and spirits, amazing local food, entertainment, big screen events and more on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Dublin Convention Centre, Various Times.Kids can check out the Science Foundation Ireland Science Zone with science workshops, explosive shows, and exciting exhibitions.
