The syndicate purchased the winning ticket from John’s Centra on Platin Road in Drogheda, becoming the first Lotto Jackpot winner of 2025. This tight-knit clan have been playing the Lottery as a family for years, playing the same numbers every week, with this being their first major win. A Dublin man made his way to Lottery HQ on Tuesday to collect his winnings of €44,357 after matching five numbers plus the bonus in the draw on Saturday, February 8. He purchased his winning ticket from Centra on the Malahide Road in Clontarf.
A Mayo woman recently celebrated her windfall of €45,000 on a Fire 4s Ice 5s scratch card that she picked up from Kavanagh’s SuperValu, The Square, Claremorris, Mayo. Speaking to the National Lottery, the winner said: “I could not have asked for a better birthday present! A family holiday to Disneyland is on the cards this year!”
