There has been spells of rain lately, however, Ireland can now expect continued wet weather and unsettled conditions in the coming days, according to Met Eireann
Nine days of rain have been confirmed for Ireland as the national weather forecaster warned of “much wetter than normal” conditions.

A risk of some strong winds over Ireland around 21st but nothing too significant showing at present. Obviously this far out subject to change.”Between Monday 17 February to Sunday 23 February, they said that low Pressure looks set to be the dominant feature of Ireland’s weather during the week bringing unsettled, wet and often windy conditions.
Cloudy tonight with patchy rain and drizzle. Some mist and fog also. More persistent rain will spread into the southwest towards dawn. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees in mostly moderate east or southeast winds. Monday, 17 February Becoming wet on Monday as rain in the west and southwest spreads across the country, turning heavy in places with the potential for spot flooding. Highest temperatures for most of 8 to 12 degrees but it will be cooler in Ulster with highs of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, southeasterly winds.
