Gardai responded to a fire at a property on Dillon Street in Tipperary Town around 8:30 pm on Friday, January 31st. The victim, a woman in her 50s, was found deceased at the scene. The woman has been identified as Marguerite O’Halloran, 54, a well-known dog groomer in the local community.
Her body was transported to the University Hospital Waterford mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
