A mother-of-four from Co Tipperary has been identified as the victim of a fatal house fire that occurred during the Bank Holiday weekend. Marguerite O’Halloran, 54, was found dead at a property on Dillon Street in Tipperary Town on Friday, January 31. Gardai are investigating the cause of the fire. Community members have shared their condolences and memories of the popular dog groomer.

Tributes have been paid to 'a lovely and caring' mother-of-four who died in a house fire in Co Tipperary during the Bank Holiday weekend.

Independent Tipperary County Councillor for Cashel-Tipperary, John O Heney, said "there is a deep sense of shock in Tipperary Town, Lattin and the surrounding areas" following the tragic incident. "To her husband Toddy, mother Kitty, brother Jimmy, her extended family, relatives and friends. She will be fondly remembered and missed by many. Let us hope her family find strength during this difficult time.Another person said: "So sad to hear of the passing of Marguerite..What a lovely, caring and always an obliging woman, when we used to take our doggies for a groom..God takes the best..R.I.P. Marguerite...and condolences to all the family..xx.
