Snowfall is expected for part of the country this week as Met Eireann has warned of hail and thunderstorms.However, plenty of showers are likely to arrive throughout the week, with temperatures ranging from -1 to 10 degrees.
Tonight scattered showers will continue, most frequent and heavy at times in the west and north with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms. Further east and south there will be longer dry and clear intervals. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds. Wednesday, 26 February A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers on Wednesday, with showers easing in the evening. Turning quite breezy with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds developing. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.
